How to Install Exodus Web3 Wallet Browser Extension®

Getting started with Exodus Web3 Wallet is simple and fast:

1. Open your preferred browser such as Chrome, Brave, or Edge.
2. Visit the official Exodus website and locate the Exodus Web3 Wallet Browser Extension®.
3. Click “Add to Browser” and approve the installation.
4. Once installed, pin the Exodus icon to your browser toolbar for quick access.

After installation, you’ll be welcomed by the Exodus setup screen.

Create or Import Your Wallet

When you first open the extension, Exodus gives you two choices:

• Create New Wallet – Ideal for beginners starting from scratch.
• Import Existing Wallet – For users migrating from another wallet using their recovery phrase.

Creating a New Wallet

1. Click “Create New Wallet”.
2. Set a strong password to protect local access.
3. Write down your 12-word secret recovery phrase and store it offline.
4. Confirm the phrase to finish setup.

Importing an Existing Wallet

If you already have a wallet, simply enter your 12-word recovery phrase and set a password to restore access.
